Our company was founded in 1984 as a company that designs, develops, manufactures, and maintains custom-made products. Since our founding, our employees have been working together to continue our business with the belief that we will respond earnestly and sincerely to any requests of our customers.

2011年3月11日の東日本大震災以降、ほとんどの仕事が中止・延期となり、一時は経営の危機に直面しました。しかし、将来を見据えるための時間ができたことで、弊社初のオリジナル製品として、４ヵ国語対応の多言語メガホンを開発いたしました。

日本は自然災害の多い国です。 日本人だけでなく、日本に住んでいる、そして日本に観光で訪れている全ての人に安全に避難してもらえるように、多言語製品には経験と技術をもとにした工夫を詰め込んでいます。お客様の声を受けての改良や多方面への展開により、現在 多言語製品は多くのお客様から支持を得られています。

In February 1984, we established Edison Hardware Co., Ltd., which undertakes the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of custom-made products, mainly technical staff, in Chuo-ku, Sapporo City.

At the time of our founding, we each employee worked hard to respond closely to customers, even in small jobs, and we worked on our work while supporting each other. The spirit of "cherishing connections with people", which has been deeply ingrained in our employees since this time, is still strongly reflected in our corporate culture.

History

In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, we launched the MLI Touch Megaphone, an evacuation guidance megaphone that speaks four languages, and the MegaSpeak ® in 2017. The MegaSperak series is not only a megaphone, but also has been deployed in various fields such as the app version for smartphones. In October 2020, we developed and released LLVision, an LED signage that enables the playback of audio and text in sync.

Edison Hardware's multilingual products have gained the support of many customers because they place great importance on "being able to use it in an emergency" and deploy it from there.

In addition, with the awareness that we want to work on the production of products related to disaster prevention, we have released a ball-proof guard for air conditioners that will be installed in gymnasium facilities that will be the main shelter in the event of a disaster.
Again, I kept in mind the peace of mind of all people. Taking advantage of the technology that has developed various products so far, we put a lot of thought into it so that everyone can use the product with peace of mind, from mounting to management.
